For Kenya to achieve Vision 2030, there is a need for quality human resources. The quality of the workforce is directly related to the quality of the training it receives and, by extension, the quality of instruction in middle-level training institutions. In this regard, Bungoma National Polytechnic has been keen to offer quality technical training geared towards achieving its mission: “Provide quality technical and vocational training for sustainable development”. Indeed, we all recognize that in today’s competitive global market, it takes the expertise of talented engineers, scientists, and technologists as well as the fulfilled hands of craftsmen and technicians to produce quality goods and services for both local consumption and the export market.
Among the objectives of the office of Deputy Principal, Administration & Finance are to improve the discipline situation in the Polytechnic by solving disciplinary cases from the current one and half days to one day by reviewing the students’ council constitution, Empowering guiding and counseling programs (referrals), Sensitization of the Polytechnic rules & regulations to students and improving BOG employees work performance
As members of the Bungoma Polytechnic community, we all have the responsibility to bring to life the vision we have at the institute: “be a centre of excellence in technical and vocational training, innovation and outreach”, where students and colleagues thrive.
We have a team of dedicated staff both teaching and non-teaching which enables us to realize our vision of making Bungoma Polytechnic “a center of excellence in capacity building, research, science, and technology”
